Join the USGA in the community celebration leading up to this year’s U.S. Open Championship in and around Pittsburgh! Free of charge, and open for all, USGA interactive community fan experiences highlight the organization who runs the U.S. Open, celebrating the Association’s longstanding commitment to STEM education, the history of golf, and the unique qualities of the championship that annually inspires both golfers and non-golfers alike! All interactive community fan experiences run through the entire month of May, right up to the U.S. Open Championship at Oakmont in mid-June. Gifts and prizes are available to all attendees!

Learning Science Through Golf: May 2 - June 19, 2016

The game of golf goes on display, illustrating how it can serve as an important platform for kids and learning. Multiple interactive stations offer children and adults alike the opportunity to see the game of golf as a "mini-learning lab" where Science, Technology, Engineering and Math ("STEM") make golf more interesting and fun to learn and play.

American Golf History- Coming to Life: May 2 - June 19, 2016

Take your rightful place alongside some of the greatest names in golf history who have competed in - and won - the U.S. Open Championship at historic Oakmont Country Club. Try your hand at hitting period-specific clubs in a custom golf simulator – from the 1930’s and 1960’s, right up to modern day. Whether you’ve played the game before or never held a club, the American Golf History – Coming to Life experience invites you to interact with the game’s rich history, and learn about the unique role Pittsburgh has played in shaping the game of golf in the United States for more than a century!

Take your shot at joining some of golf's greats by "putting your way” into U.S. Open Championship history!

Historically, many of the most memorable U.S. Open Championships have been defined by epic moments occurring on the final green of play - #18. With an extra-long putting green in front of you, and nothing holding you back except the burden of history, you’ll have your opportunity to attempt several putts of different lengths, including one of the longest made putts in U.S. Open Championship history.
